Viterbo opens season strong at PBCSC Volleyball Classic

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Viterbo V-Hawks picked up four wins to open the 2021 campaign.

Viterbo not only won its first four matches at the Palm Beach County Sports Commission Volleyball Classic, but also the V-Hawks earned sweeps in each of the wins.

Viterbo defeated Keiser on Thursday, Bethel and Ave Maria on Friday and Madonna on Saturday.

Maya Roberts led the way on the attack for the V-Hawks with 45 kills through 12 sets. Abbey Johnson had 84 assists.

Viterbo will stay in Florida and next take to the court on Tuesday at Webber International in Babson Park to face the host school and Life (Ga.)
